Wireless Sensor for HyWD Water Leak Detector
Water pipes, water heaters, taps and water dispensers installed in households are prone to water leaks when water pressure is too high or joints age and loosen. Regardless of severity, a water leak is an unpleasant problem.
The sensor for the water leak detector will help you if you need to cover more rooms. The basic principle is that the wireless immersion sensor should be installed in a place where it can most easily come into contact with water in case of a leak. When the sensor's immersion probes come into contact with water, the resistance between the probes changes and the electronic ball valve quickly shuts off the main water supply.

Installation
- The wireless water leak detector relies on the conductivity of the electrode to detect whether a leak is occurring. When installing it, place it in a low-lying spot where water can accumulate in case of a leak.
- The wireless water immersion detector must be installed within the effective sensing area. Once the installation location is selected, short-circuit the positive and negative poles of the probe on the detector and check that there is no leak alarm on the main control valve to confirm whether the installation location can effectively sense.
- WARNING! The main control valve cannot be installed in an enclosed space where the signal is isolated, such as thicker load-bearing walls, cramped metal spaces and places with magnetic interference. The above spaces will cause communication failure between the main control valve and the wireless water immersion detector. Please test the induction before installation!
