Features of BT52:

A new wireless thermostat that allows you to take advantage of all the benefits of heating systems with the OpenTherm (OT+) communication protocol, achieving higher heating energy savings! Settings and function selection are done on the transmitter, while the receiver indicates all states using colored LEDs. Allows you to set the boiler type (universal, Thermona electric or gas, Ferroli, Viessmann,  Dakon, De-Dietrich, ACV ), the thermostat has also been tested on the new Viadrus NAOS boiler.

BT52 and the use of the OpenTherm protocol:

Based on this protocol, two-way communication takes place between the thermostat and the boiler. The BT52 thermostat's receiver obtains the necessary information (e.g. about the outdoor temperature), which it then processes and passes to the transmitter. From the information obtained, the thermostat recalculates the required temperature of the heating system water and sends it back to the boiler. The BT52 can be used for boilers communicating according to the OpenTherm protocol and meeting the given technical specifications.
