1. Resin disinfection - Using the control head, the disinfection unit is connected directly to enable disinfection of the resin filling (can be ordered separately). This disinfection unit uses free chlorine generated from the salt solution to disinfect the softening media during each regeneration. This process is standard in several European countries.
2. Bypass valve - It is possible to order a bypass valve, which allows the device to be disconnected from the water system. This part can be useful when the device needs to be moved, for example when replacing the cation resin, painting the walls behind the device, and similar situations.
