ATMOS C 15 S
Code: C15SProduct detailed description
– 16 kW gasification boiler for brown coal and wood – KOMBI with induced draught fan and cooling loop
This is a new and the smallest gasification boiler designed for burning brown coal and wood as a backup fuel (for stoking), based on the principle of generator gasification using an induced draught fan (S), which draws the flue gases out of the boiler.
Despite its compact dimensions, the boiler retains a large fuel loading chamber, thus ensuring a long burning time. Thanks to its small dimensions and output, it is also suitable for buildings with a very small boiler room and low heat loss. Fuel can be easily loaded and the boiler easily cleaned through the large door. The special design ensures combustion efficiency of over 90%, low consumption, and comfortable, environmentally friendly operation.
The boiler body is manufactured as a welded structure from high-quality steel sheets 3 to 6 mm thick. It consists of two chambers stacked one above the other - the upper one serves as a fuel storage bin, the lower one as a combustion chamber and ash pan. Between them is a new, patent-protected rotating grate, which allows perfect gasification of the fuel and easy ash removal. At the rear of the boiler body there is a vertical flue gas duct, fitted at the top with a lighting-up flap. The upper part of the flue gas duct is fitted with an exhaust neck for connection to the chimney.

Frequently Asked Questions
- How do I choose the correct output of a solid fuel boiler? Base your choice on the calculated heat loss of the heated building, but with wood/coal boilers also consider that the boiler burns for several hours at essentially constant output during a single loading - it is therefore common practice to supplement the boiler with a storage (buffer) tank, which stores excess heat for later use instead of the boiler having to be inefficiently throttled down.
- What else do I need for the installation of this boiler? In addition to the boiler itself, the system generally requires: a storage (buffer) tank of appropriate volume, a circulation pump (often already with a built-in Laddomat or thermoregulatory valve against low-temperature corrosion of the boiler), a safety valve, an expansion vessel, and a flue/chimney with sufficient draught corresponding to the boiler output - exact chimney draught values can be found in the technical parameters above.
- What fuel is suitable and what is not? Use only fuel recommended by the manufacturer for the given model (usually piece wood of defined length and moisture, or brown coal briquettes or coal depending on the boiler type) - unsuitable or excessively moist fuel reduces efficiency, increases the formation of tar and deposits, and can cause damage to the boiler.
- What about chimney inspection and legislation? Before putting the boiler into operation, as well as regularly during its use (usually once a year for solid fuels), an inspection/cleaning of the chimney by an authorized chimney sweep is required by law - without the relevant inspection certificate, an insurance claim in the event of a fire may also be disputed.
- How much maintenance does the boiler require? This typically includes regular ash removal and cleaning of heating surfaces/flue gas paths from soot (interval depending on intensity of use, usually in the order of weeks), and a thorough annual inspection including seals and the chimney.
- Can I install the boiler myself? The actual placement and connection of the boiler to the heating system, chimney, and safety elements should be carried out, or at least professionally checked, by a heating technician - this is a device with open flame, high temperatures, and pressurized components, where an error in connection can pose a safety risk.
