Avansa 2003 TX - manual wireless thermostat 

Avansa 2003 TX is a wireless non-programmable room thermostat suitable for controlling most boilers sold in Slovakia. The thermostat can be easily connected to a boiler or to an air conditioning unit with an operating voltage of 24 - 230 V. Compared to simple, traditional thermostats, the digital display of the Avansa 2003 TX thermostat allows for more precise temperature measurement and setting of the required values. Based on the selected switching sensitivity, the thermostat can switch the boiler on below the set temperature and off above the set temperature. While providing high comfort, it also ensures a reduction in energy costs. The device has two units. The first is the  control unit (thermostat), the second is used to control the boiler. The units are connected via radio frequency, so there is no need to run wiring between the thermostat and the boiler. The thermostat and receiver have their own security codes, so external signals cannot disrupt their safe operation.

• How exactly does a manual (simple) thermostat work? It measures the temperature at its installation location and, when it drops below the set value, closes a contact that switches on the heat source (boiler, pump, heating appliance) - once the set temperature is reached, the contact opens again. Unlike programmable thermostats, it has no weekly or daily program; the temperature is set manually using a rotary or slide control.
• Where should the thermostat be placed? In a location that best represents the normal room temperature - away from direct sunlight, drafts, radiators or other heat/cold sources that could distort the reading.
• Must installation be carried out by an electrician? Connecting the thermostat to the heating source's electrical circuit should be carried out by a person with electrical qualifications, since it involves working on the electrical wiring and load switching.
