While standard grass mixtures root at a depth of 10 to 15 cm, tall fescue in Water Saver reaches up to 60 cm below the surface. In these layers, moisture is retained much longer, allowing the lawn to survive even long weeks without rain.

Preparation and successful implementation

To achieve a perfect result, we recommend the following procedure:

• Soil preparation: Remove weeds and stones, and loosen the soil to a depth of at least 20 cm.
• Sowing: Use a hand seeder for even distribution of the seed.
• Covering and rolling: Gently work the seed into the soil to a depth of about 0.5 cm and roll the area.
• Irrigation: During the first 21 days, keep the area constantly moist, ideally using automatic irrigation.
• Mowing: Perform the first mowing at a height of 10 cm, then maintain the height as needed (ideally with a robotic mower ).
