Combined vertical wall-mounted water heater, boiler Dražice OKC 80 for water heating

• Combined storage water heater designed for vertical wall mounting with a volume of 75 l.
• DHW preparation for buildings with hot-water central heating on gas or solid fuels during the winter season.
• Heating with electric energy outside the heating season, with the option of using a low electricity tariff (night current).

  • Heating is provided by a ceramic heating element controlled by an operating thermostat and protected by a safety thermostat (thermal fuse).
  • The ceramic element is controlled during heating by a thermostat, which allows continuous setting of the required temperature (in the range of 5 to 74 °C).
  • Heat exchanger:
  • In combined water heaters, a heat exchanger is welded into the pressure vessel.
  • This heat exchanger is intended only for the heating circuit.
  • The water heater can be connected to an external hot-water source with a max. temperature of 110 °C.
• The water heater tank is made of steel sheet and tested with an overpressure of 0.9 MPa.
• The inside of the tank is enamelled.
• We recommend using the product in an indoor environment with an air temperature of + 2 °C to 45 °C and a relative humidity of max. 80%.

Recommendations before wall mounting:

• The manufacturer maintains the spacing of the anchor bolts throughout the entire production history for easy replacement of worn-out water heaters.
• Before installation it is necessary to check the load-bearing capacity of the wall and, depending on the type of masonry, choose suitable anchoring material, or reinforce the wall.
• Install the water heater only in a vertical position so that the bottom edge of the heater is located at least 600 mm above the floor.
• Due to the various types of load-bearing masonry and the wide range of special anchoring materials available on the market, the manufacturer does not supply water heaters with this material.
• The anchoring system must be chosen individually, according to the conditions.

• What tank volume should I choose? A common estimate of consumption is based on approx. 40-50 liters of hot water (at approx. 40-45 °C) per person per day for standard use (showering, washing); for bathing in a tub or a larger number of bathrooms/outlets, a higher volume should be considered. When choosing, also consider whether the tank will be heated by a boiler with high output (faster heating, a smaller volume may suffice) or, for example, only by a solar system (where, on the contrary, a larger volume is worthwhile for accumulating heat during the day).
• Can I connect this DRAŽICE tank to my existing boiler? In most cases yes, but you should check the compatibility of the hydraulic connection (dimensions and type of connections) and whether your boiler supports control of the tank heating (a temperature sensor in the tank and possibly a switching valve are required) - you can find these details in the product's technical parameters or ask our customer service for advice.
• Where and how is the tank installed? The tank is placed as close as possible to the heat source (boiler) to minimize heat losses in the connecting pipework, while also allowing sufficient space around it for service access (anode replacement, safety valve inspection).
• Must the installation be done by a professional? We always recommend entrusting the hydraulic connection to the water supply and heat source, including fitting the safety valve to the correct pressure, to a heating engineer/plumber - an incorrectly fitted or missing safety valve poses a safety risk.
