Most common use:
Year-round DHW heating using heating water from a gas boiler for connection with priority DHW heating, or combined operation with heating water and electric energy. From the OKC 200 NTRR volume onward, it is possible to combine a gas boiler, an alternative energy source or a solar system. By connecting both heat exchangers in series, we can obtain an indirectly heated storage tank for boilers over 24 kW in combination with electric energy.
A newer range of enamelled indirectly heated floor-standing water heaters with volumes of 100–300 litres, featuring an enamelled tank and a powerful single heat exchanger (or, from the 200-litre type, two heat exchangers) for heating DHW from an external source or a combination of different sources. By connecting both heat exchangers in series, we can obtain a DHW source with an output of up to 57 kW. The heater is equipped with DHW temperature control (a thermostat for controlling a three-way valve or a circulation pump) for 230 V/50 Hz voltage, a circulation outlet, and, up to 200 litres, a safety valve.
In the lower part of the heater there is an inspection flange opening for cleaning the inside of the tank, with an auxiliary electric heater installed. When using the heater for a solar system, heaters over 200 litres have a 6/4" fitting available, located above the solar heat exchanger for the electric heating unit TJ from the accessories.
