The ELX Compact series models are electronically controlled pressurized instantaneous water heaters with hydraulic switching. Thanks to their design, they are intended for installation into the water system, even for multiple draw-off points. The heater is suitable for a washbasin, kitchen sink, and also for supplying a shower as a draw-off point. The advantage of the ELX series instantaneous water heaters is the backlit touch LCD display with an on/off heating button and the possibility of precise setting of the required water temperature. The electronics also provide measurement of the current water flow and heater power input. Comfortable use of the instantaneous water heater and water heating are achieved by using a microprocessor, which controls the water heating and maintains a constant hot water temperature at the heater outlet even when the inlet water temperature and pipe pressure fluctuate. The electronics automatically adjust the power input of the heating coils to achieve the set outlet water temperature (smooth increase or decrease of power input). Automatic heating power adjustment makes the heater a powerful and economical model. Water heating takes place at the moment when water flows through the heater, so energy is consumed only during the water heating process. Thanks to the use of the heater directly at the draw-off point and short water distribution lines, heat losses are eliminated. The ELÍZ ELX 10 instantaneous water heater is equipped with two-stage thermal protection against water overheating with a reset function.
