ELIZ EURO THV range tanks are purely indirect-heated – they have no electric heating element of their own and heat water exclusively via a heat exchanger connected to a boiler, heat pump or solar system. The characteristic top outlets make installation easier in spaces where there's no access to the bottom of the tank.
The volume range from 80 to 200 litres covers the needs of both an apartment and a family house with an existing heat source.
Frequently Asked Questions
- Can an electric element be added to a THV tank? The basic version is designed only for indirect heating; for combined heating we recommend a range with an electric element.
- Why top outlets? They allow easier connection of pipework from above, which is useful when installing in tight spaces or when replacing an older type of tank.
- What volume should I choose for a heat pump? The recommended volume depends on the output of the heat source and the number of outlets; 150-200 l is usually sufficient for a family house.
