Weather-compensated controller for a .

Euroster UNI3 is designed to control 3 central heating circuits with mixing valves (for example, a radiator and an system).

Product description :

Option for independent temperature and weather curve settings for each circuit.
Allows independent control of each circuit together with a room thermostat and weekly program.
Controls - the main heat source with its own controller, e.g. a gas boiler, and an additional heat source - manually controlled - e.g. a solid fuel boiler, a fireplace.
Manual or automatic summer/winter season switching - option to set the start and end date of the heating period.
Selection of circuit operating mode by switching the pump on and off, or by lowering the temperature with the mixing valve while the pump runs continuously.
Utilisation of heat generated in the additional heat source (fireplace, solid fuel boiler).
Output for the boiler, or control of the additional heating device.
Communication - option to combine several UNI3 and UNI2 control units to control additional systems.
Option to switch off control of the mixing valve, or to switch off the circuit completely.

Frequently Asked Questions

How exactly does a manual (simple) thermostat work? It measures the temperature at its installation location and, when it drops below the set value, closes a contact that starts the heat source (boiler, pump, heating element) - once the set temperature is reached, the contact opens again. Unlike programmable thermostats, it has no weekly or daily program; the temperature is set manually using a rotary or sliding control.
Where should the thermostat be placed? In a location that best represents the normal room temperature - away from direct sunlight, draughts, radiators or other heat/cold sources that could distort the measurement.
Must installation be carried out by an electrician? Connecting the thermostat to the electrical circuit of the heat source should be carried out by a person with electrotechnical qualification, since it involves work on the electrical installation and load switching.
