It uses filter cartridges marked SX. Household use: filtration and treatment of drinking water, protection of taps, water heaters, washing machines and other fittings. Technical use: pre-filtration, micro-filtration, protection of pumps, heating systems, demineralisation and chlorine removal, protection of reverse osmosis units. The cartridge is suitable for capturing mechanical impurities. The polyphosphate balls create a microfilm on the inner surface of pipes and heating elements that prevents limescale deposits on heating elements, and in the case of soft water prevents oxygen from entering the pipework, thereby stopping corrosion.
