How does the HydroSoft water softener work?
The HydroSoft ECONOMY Plus Maxi uses ion exchange to remove calcium and magnesium from the water when softening it. Regeneration starts automatically based on the volume of water consumed. You only need to top up the salt – the system takes care of the rest.

We recommend
- Before the water softener, we recommend installing a mechanical pre-filter, which will prevent the ingress of floating impurities (sand, rust, clay, etc.) that could damage the mechanical parts of the softening device.
- To select the correct size, you need to know the water hardness value, peak hourly and average monthly water consumption, and last but not least, take into account other values such as iron, manganese, ammonia, and organic water contamination.
