How does the HydroSoft water softener work?
The HydroSoft ECONOMY Plus Midi device uses ion exchange to remove calcium and magnesium from the water during softening. Regeneration is triggered automatically based on the volume of water consumed. You only need to top up the salt – the system takes care of the rest.

We recommend
- Before the water softener, we recommend installing a mechanical pre-filter, which will prevent floating impurities (sand, rust, clay, etc.) from entering, which could damage the mechanical parts of the softening device.
- To choose the correct size, you need to know the water hardness value, peak hourly and average monthly water consumption, and last but not least, also take into account other values such as iron, manganese, ammonia and organic water contamination.
