Product detailed description

Karma Beta 2 Comfort 02

Under-window gas stove fitted with dark tinted glass on the front of the casing. The design of the casing and combustion chamber, complemented by an imitation of coal above the burner, allows a view of the burning flame. A special ceramic material in the firebox gives the flames the appearance of burning coal. The stove is very easy to operate, and the flue gas outlet runs through the wall. The stove output is 2 kW and the set temperature is maintained automatically. The stove is fitted with an electronic control system that ignites the burner, regulates the gas supply, and monitors the flame as well as all functions affecting the operation and safety of the stove. Thanks to electronic regulation it is possible to achieve gas savings of up to 25% compared to the BETA Mechanic. In standby mode the BETA Comfort has ZERO gas consumption, unlike the BETA Mechanic it has no permanent pilot flame. It is not fitted with its own switching clock, and connects to a suitable room thermostat - more than one stove can be connected to a single thermostat.

Resistant to sub-zero temperatures.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • How do I choose the right output for a KARMA electric boiler? As with gas boilers, base your choice on the calculated heat loss of the building to be heated. For electric boilers it is also crucial to check whether the capacity of your electrical connection to the house (flat) allows it - higher outputs (from roughly 12 kW upwards) usually require a three-phase 400 V connection and a correspondingly sized main circuit breaker, which will be confirmed by a revision technician or directly by the electricity distributor.
  • Is an electric boiler worth it compared to a gas or solid-fuel boiler? An electric boiler has the lowest purchase price and the simplest installation (no flue gas extraction is needed, since it burns nothing), but operating costs for electricity are usually higher than for gas or wood/coal for the same amount of heat delivered. It is particularly suitable where gas is not available, as a supplementary/backup source, or for a building with low consumption (well-insulated new builds, cottages, flats).
  • How does an electric boiler regulate output? Most models switch individual heating elements on/off gradually (in stages); some more modern models also allow smoother output modulation - this affects the smoothness of heating and, to some extent, the service life of the switching components.
  • Can I install this electric boiler myself? Connection to the electrical network, inspection and commissioning must be carried out by a person with electrotechnical qualification in accordance with the applicable standard STN 33 2000 and related regulations - DIY installation is not permitted, either for warranty or safety reasons.
  • Can this electric boiler also heat domestic hot water? For many models, yes, usually in combination with a separate domestic hot water tank and a switching (3-way) valve, which switches between the heating circuit and heating the tank - the exact possibility and required accessories for this particular model can be found in the technical parameters above, or consult our customer service.
