Karma Beta 5 Mechanic
Gas stove with an output of 4.7 kW and flue evacuation through the wall, with very simple operation. The set temperature is maintained automatically. The stove is equipped with mechanical temperature control - a thermostat and a piezo igniter that lights a permanent pilot light. It can burn throughout the whole heating season, and at the same time ensures safe operation of the stove via a thermoelectric safety fuse. In the event of a gas outage or the flame going out, the gas supply to the stove is automatically shut off.
It withstands temperatures below freezing point and requires no electrical connection.

- How do I choose the right output for a KARMA gas stove? Just as with gas boilers, base your choice on the calculated heat loss of the heated space. For electric heaters it is also essential to check whether your home's electrical connection can support it - higher outputs (roughly above 12 kW) usually require a three-phase 400 V connection and a correspondingly sized main circuit breaker, which your electrical inspector or the electricity distributor can confirm.
- Is an electric boiler worth it compared to a gas or solid-fuel boiler? An electric boiler has the lowest purchase price and the simplest installation (no flue is needed, since nothing is combusted), but running costs on electricity are usually higher than gas or wood/coal for the same amount of delivered heat. It is best suited where gas is not available, as a supplementary/backup source, or for a low-consumption building (well-insulated new builds, cottages, apartments).
- How does an electric boiler regulate output? Most models switch the individual heating elements on/off in stages, while some more modern models also allow smoother output modulation - this affects heating smoothness and, to some extent, the lifespan of the switching components.
- Can I install this electric boiler myself? Connection to the electrical grid, inspection and commissioning must be carried out by a person with electrical qualification in accordance with the applicable STN 33 2000 standard and related regulations - self-installation is not permitted, either for warranty reasons or for safety reasons.
- Can this electric boiler also heat domestic hot water? For many models, yes - usually in combination with a separate hot water tank and a switching (3-way) valve that switches between the heating circuit and heating the tank. Dobrý den, zateplujeme dom, kurenie mame riešené gamatkami a nastal problem ako vyriešiť privod vzduch a odvod spalin cez stenu ked stena pribudla o hrubkú cca 110 mm. Mali sme ešte tie staré komínky, dve 100 mm rury nad sebou a zakryte smalotovaným čiernom dierovaným plechovým krytom, ten je už značne ošumelý a škaredy tak by sm eto chceli nahradit niečim novším. Neviete nam poradit ako to riešiť?

Dobrý deň, Pred nedávnou som sa začal zaujímať o kúpe gamatky (prípadne gamatiek), na toľko UK s kotlom nepríde do úvahy, kvôli komplikovanosti trasy ťahanie rúr. O Vašej značke som nevedel, že existuje, poznám len tých od Vašej konkurencie (Mora) Porovnával som Vašu gamatku Karma Beta 5M s Mora PT6140, čo majú cca rovnakú výkonnosť. Narazil som ale na veľké rozdiely v iných parametroch ako je cena, spotreba plynu a objem, ktorý sa dá s tým vykurovať. Rozdiel v ceny si viem predstaviť, aj autá sú za 10 000 Eur, aj za niekoľko násobné viac. Spotreba: Karma 0,24 m3 zp/hodinu, Mora 0,52 m3 zp/hodinu Ale aj Karma do 40 m3 objem miestnosti, Mora do 95 m3 objem miestnosti. Ako je to možné? Robíte meranie každý po svojom? Neexistuje nejaká smernica, že na plynových spotrebice musia byť jednotné (ako na spotrebu palivo na motorových vozidiel)? Teším sa na Vaše vysvetlenie. S pozdravom, Hans de Groot
