Three Viessmann Vitodens Ranges with Instantaneous DHW Heating

Viessmann groups its condensing boilers with instantaneous DHW heating into three Vitodens product lines, which differ in output range and degree of modulation:

  • Vitodens 050-W – entry-level range, available in outputs of 3.2 – 19 kW and 3.2 – 25 kW.
  • Vitodens 100-W – mid-range, the most widely represented range (3.2 – 19 kW, 3.2 – 25 kW and 3.2 – 32 kW), with an Inox-Radial stainless steel heat exchanger and a MatriX burner.
  • Vitodens 200-W – higher-end range with a modulation range starting from 1.9 kW (instead of 3.2 kW for the lower ranges), meaning it can operate at an even lower output – an advantage especially during transitional seasons (spring, autumn), when only a fraction of maximum output is needed.

Which Model to Choose

For a typical apartment or house with one bathroom, the Vitodens 100-W is the most versatile choice thanks to its wide range of outputs and durable stainless steel heat exchanger. If you're looking for the most affordable entry-level option, take a look at the Vitodens 050-W. If you value the smoothest possible regulation without unnecessary cycling in mild weather, go for the Vitodens 200-W with its wider modulation range.
