Mounting Accessories for Faucets
A mounting bar is used when installing a faucet in situations where it should not rest directly on the edge of the sink or basin, but instead needs to be anchored to a wall, partition or piece of furniture - for example with wall-mounted or recessed kitchen counter solutions. The steel body with a brass elbow has a 1/2" thread at the end, to which the water supply to the faucet is connected; the other end is fixed into the structure before the tiling or worktop is installed.
Thanks to this solid anchoring, the bar transfers the load from the weight and use of the faucet directly into the wall or furniture, so the connecting pipework itself is not stressed later on.

When do you need a mounting bar?
- Whenever the faucet should not be held only by the hole in the sink/basin, but also needs a fixed point in the wall or cabinet body.
- The bar must be installed before the final assembly of the tiling, doors or worktop, in order to keep the correct spacing and connection height.
- Check that the 1/2" thread is compatible with the connection of your specific faucet.
