The SmartSolar charge controller processes energy from solar panels and stores it in batteries, maximizes solar yields, intelligently maintains battery condition and extends its lifespan. The SmartSolar charge controller can even recharge a deeply discharged battery, as it can operate with a battery voltage as low as 0 volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulfated or otherwise damaged.
Ultra-fast MPPT technology:
The controller constantly monitors the voltage and current from the solar panels and, thanks to MPPT technology, extracts the maximum energy from them, which is especially beneficial under variable sunlight intensity. MPPT technology provides up to 30% higher energy yield compared to PWM solar controllers and up to 10% higher yield compared to slower MPPT controllers.
Remote monitoring and control:
If your installation is connected to the internet via a GX device, the VRM portal gives you access to your devices anytime and anywhere.
Load output:
The intelligent Load output feature prevents batteries from discharging below limit values. You can configure the voltage at which SmartSolar disconnects the load, preventing excessive battery discharge. The BatteryLife function keeps the battery in good condition and extends its lifespan.
Built-in Bluetooth:
Thanks to built-in Bluetooth, the SmartSolar charge controller can be paired with your smartphone or other device via the VictronConnect app to set up, monitor, or update the system.
VE.Direct connector:
VE.Direct is used to connect to a GX device, PC, or other devices.
