HydroTreat ECONOMY Junior with ANEX Pure media - removal of nitrates and sulphates from water

With the HydroTreat ECONOMY Junior with ANEX Pure filter, you can be sure that the water from your tap is safe and clean. The device uses advanced filtration technology specially designed to remove nitrates, nitrites and sulphates from water. This system is efficient, easy to use and environmentally friendly. Unlike boiling, which does not remove these harmful substances, HydroTreat provides a reliable and long-term solution for your household.

Nitrates (NO₃⁻) and nitrites (NO₂⁻) are substances that can appear in water as a result of intensive agricultural production and the use of nitrogen fertilizers. Although they are naturally present in small amounts, their excessive presence in water can have serious health consequences. They pose an increased risk especially to children, pregnant women and people with weakened immunity.

In accordance with hygiene standards, the limit for nitrates in drinking water should not exceed 50 mg/l, for nitrites 0.5 mg/l, and appropriate limits are also set for sulphates. If these values exceed the set limit, the water becomes unsuitable not only for drinking but also for use in the kitchen.

Operation and maintenance - HydroTreat ECONOMY series

Filtration of nitrates and sulphates from water using the HydroTreat® ECONOMY Junior device with ANEX Pure resin works on a similar principle to HydroSoft water softening devices, i.e. ion exchange. During operation, the device captures nitrate, nitrite and sulphate ions from the water and replaces them with chlorides. Once its capacity is exhausted, the ANEX Pure resin requires regeneration with salt, during which it releases the collected nitrate, nitrite and sulphate ions and is refilled with chloride ions.

Control unit features

The control head ensures completely automatic regeneration of the media.
During regeneration, it does not let raw water through, so contaminated, unfiltered water does not enter the piping system.
Regeneration takes place at any time according to the customer's needs, usually at night around 2:00 AM.
The control head is reliable and easy to operate.
