Panda IOG gas flow heaters represent a new range of products with Low NOx technology that meet the requirements of the ErP directive. In addition, other parameters have improved compared to the previous version: increased modulation range with consequent improvement in DHW comfort and lower gas consumption. They also have a reduced minimum flow to provide users with even greater hot water comfort.

- What output of instantaneous water heater should I choose? A higher output allows a higher hot water flow rate for a given temperature rise (the difference between the cold water temperature and the desired hot water temperature) - e.g. an 18-21 kW heater is usually enough for one shower, while 24-27 kW comfortably handles a slightly higher flow or colder inlet water in winter.
- Can my home’s wiring handle this output? Heaters with an output above roughly 11 kW usually require a three-phase 400 V connection and a correspondingly sized circuit breaker (typically 3x 25 A or more for higher outputs) - before buying, we recommend checking the capacity of your home’s electrical installation, ideally with an electrician.
- Can I install this PROTHERM heater myself? The water pipe connection itself is not technically difficult, but the connection to the electrical network (especially for outputs above 3.5 kW, which usually require a fixed connection rather than a plug) must be carried out by a person with electrical qualifications.
- What is the difference between a pressurised and an unpressurised (open-outlet) design? A pressurised heater is connected to the standard pressurised water supply and can supply several outlets in the flat/house at once via the piping. An unpressurised (open) heater works with only one specific outlet and a special unpressurised (three-way) tap - these two systems cannot be combined, nor can their accessories be interchanged.
- How long does it take before hot water starts flowing? With instantaneous heating, the water is heated continuously as it flows through the heater - hot water is therefore available practically immediately after opening the tap (once the cold water in the pipe has been pushed out); unlike storage heaters, there is no need to wait for a larger volume of water to be heated in advance.

Spoločnosť Protherm Production patrí do koncernu Vaillant Group a je výrobcom vykurovacej techniky pre mnohé krajiny Európy, Ázie i Afriky. Pre slovenský trh produkuje kotly značiek Vaillant a Protherm. Protherm Production nie je len výrobným závodom. Jeho súčasťou je aj najmodernejšie vývojové centrum, testovacie centrum a distribučno-logistické centrum pre strednú a východnú Európu.
Začiatky spoločnosti siahajú do roku 1991, kedy pôsobila ako predajca vykurovacej techniky v Prahe. Výroba v Skalici bola spustená najprv v spoločnosti Didaktik, odkiaľ bola v roku 1999 presťahovaná do priestorov súčasného závodu. Od roku 2001 sa stala súčasťou nemeckého koncernu Vaillant Group.
Tri slovenské subjekty: Koncern Vaillant Group na Slovensku zamestnáva viac ako 1 800 ľudí. Okrem závodu v Skalici mu patrí aj spoločnosť Vaillant Industrial Slovakia v Trenčianskych Stankovciach, vyrábajúca hydromoduly a rúrky. Predajnou organizáciou pre slovenský trh je spoločnosť Vaillant Group Slovakia, ktorá zabezpečuje i ďalšiu starostlivosť o zákazníka a servis ponúkaných výrobkov.
Koncern Vaillant Group má vyše 140-ročnú históriu a na konte viac ako 2 000 patentov. Je lídrom a priekopníkom v oblasti vykurovacích technológií v Európe. Výroba
Spoločnosť Protherm Production vyrába široký sortiment kotlov a zariadení na ohrev teplej vody. Ide o závesné a stacionárne, kondenzačné aj nekondenzačné kotly, elektrokotly, elektrické ohrievače na prípravu teplej vody i vnútorné jednotky tepelných čerpadiel.
