Product detailed description
TREND 10AN small stainless steel electric storage water heater, top connection
Capacity: 10 l
Output: 2kW
- The tank is made of stainless steel, so anode replacement is not required
- The use of a 2000W heating element ensures a short heating time
- A 600 W heating element can also be used
- Energy class A
- Water temperature control in the range of 23-70°C
- Also suitable for use with an unpressurised (open-outlet) mixer tap.
A recycling fee of €0.27 is included in the product price.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What tank capacity should I choose? A common estimate of consumption is around 40-50 litres of hot water (at around 40-45°C) per person per day for standard use (showering, washing); for bathing in a tub or a larger number of bathrooms/outlets, you should allow for a larger capacity. When choosing, also consider whether the tank will be heated by a high-output boiler (faster heating, a smaller capacity may be enough) or, for example, only by a solar system (where a larger capacity is worthwhile for storing heat accumulated during the day).
- Can I connect this Q-TERMO tank to an existing boiler? In most cases yes, but you should check the compatibility of the hydraulic connection (dimensions and type of fittings) and whether your boiler supports controlling the tank's heating (a temperature sensor in the tank and possibly a diverter valve are required) - you'll find these details in the product's technical parameters, or our customer service can advise you.
- Where and how is the tank installed? The tank should be installed as close as possible to the heat source (the boiler) to minimise heat losses in the connecting pipework, while still leaving enough space around it for servicing (anode replacement, safety valve inspection).
- Does the installation have to be done by a professional? We always recommend having the hydraulic connection to the water supply and heat source, including fitting the safety valve at the correct pressure, carried out by a heating engineer/plumber - an incorrectly fitted or missing safety valve is a safety hazard.
