The QUADRIGA Q8 80 FB (80V FB) heater  is a wall-mounted gas water heater with a room-sealed combustion chamber.  These appliances are designed as gas storage water heaters with flue gas discharge through the perimeter wall, which no longer requires a connection to a chimney. Combustion air supply and flue gas discharge can be provided either by a coaxial pipe, or, on the customer's special request, a splitter can be used with separate pipes for air supply and flue gas discharge. All types can be operated on either natural gas or propane-butane.

Basic components of QUADRIGA water heaters:

- Polyurethane foam insulation - its density and thickness are greater, and its insulating properties allow for economical operation and fuel savings; heat loss is minimised when this type of insulation is used. The material used does not contain CFC refrigerants.

- Steel tank - made of special steel. The shape of the tank prevents limescale from settling and hardening in places inaccessible to the swirl system, and allows the tank to be cleaned thoroughly (ACD SYSTEM).

- Double-layer titanium enamel - forms the internal protective layer of the tank. This perfectly smooth, glassy porcelain enamel (the so-called VIDRON/E method) prevents limescale particles from adhering to the tank wall and thus protects the tank against corrosion. The tank is tested by the manufacturer at a test pressure of 1.6 MPa (16 bar).

- Magnesium anode rod - provides protection against the effects of electrolytic corrosion. Its weight is 200 g/m² and it is replaceable in every heater.

- Water swirl system - achieved by the flow of water into the tank and a specially shaped end on the inlet pipe, which reaches down to the bottom of the tank. This prevents limescale particles and other impurities from settling and forming a continuous layer on the bottom of the tank, which would shorten the heater's service life, reduce efficiency and increase gas consumption. The swirl system stirs the volume of the tank and flushes out these particles.

- Piezoelectric igniter - simplifies starting up the appliance and is extremely reliable

- Safety valve - combined with a non-return valve and set to an opening pressure of 0.8 MPa (8 bar).

- Drain valve - an opening with a valve at the bottom of the tank, used to drain water from the heater when cleaning the tank, or to connect a hot water circulation loop.

- POLIDORO burner - tiered design, made of stainless steel, characterised by a long service life, high efficiency, low levels of pollutants in the flue gas and complete combustion of the gas.

- Outer casing - meets all aesthetic and technical requirements. The surface paint is applied using an environmentally friendly powder coating method.

- EUROSIT MINISIT 630 combined gas control - with triple protection (a control thermostat, a thermocouple that shuts off the gas supply if it runs low, and an emergency ECO thermostat that switches off if the water in the tank overheats). Built-in gas filter. The control also has an easily accessible temperature regulator (35-70°C), which is easily accessible and simple and trouble-free to operate.

- Flue gas draught retarder - made of stainless steel sheet. This is a specially shaped strip inside the flue that keeps the hot flue gases in the flue for longer, allowing the heat from the flue gases to transfer to the water in the tank around the flue, thereby increasing the heater's efficiency. Once the water is hot, it slows the airflow and so reduces heat loss.

- Condensate collector - a sheet metal tray bent around the combustion chamber. During operation, it prevents condensed water from dripping onto the base of the tank, thereby protecting the main burner and tank stand from damage.

- LPG nozzles - nozzles for use with propane-butane gas can be supplied on request
