Dezin38 is a disinfection module designed for water softeners and well water treatment devices. During regeneration, it automatically generates free chlorine from the brine solution, which disinfects the ion-exchange resin and internal piping. This effectively prevents the growth of iron and sulfur-related bacteria and contributes to the hygienic operation of the entire system.

Detailed description
Automatic disinfection
During regeneration, the device converts part of the brine solution into chlorine, which cleans the resin and internal piping. Proper operation can be verified by a typical chlorine smell – with correct operation, the outflowing water has a mild chlorine odor.
Reliable filtration
The module can be combined with ion-exchange resins and Ecomix filtration media, similarly to classic softeners.
Hygienic operation
Regular disinfection keeps the filtration media clean over the long term, reduces the risk of unpleasant odors and deposits, and improves the taste of the water
Easy retrofit installation
The module has a small footprint and connects easily to the control head. The brine solution is fed into the disinfection chamber via a thin hose, so installation does not require modification of the existing piping.
How does Dezin38 work?
