• Jigsaw or a utility knife for cutting the tile
• Protractor
• Tape measure or ruler
• Rubber mallet

1. Make sure the floor surface is smooth, level, dry and clean.

2. Start laying in a corner, so that the locks on the tile point in the direction of laying.

3. Continue until the desired area is covered.

4. If you come across walls or obstacles, cut the tiles.

Installation guidelines:

• The surface should be compacted, smooth, level, dry and clean.
• The installation temperature should be between 5-25 °C.

The tiles have practical grooves that allow excess water to drain away. No puddles form on the surface of the tile and the deck dries quickly after rain. The tiles also have a studded profile on the underside, which supports drainage and helps water flow further into the sub-base or drainage layer.

Do not place ordinary foils/sheets under the rubber decking, as they prevent the natural drainage of water, have a limited lifespan, and the studded profile on the underside of the tiles could damage them.

Drainage layers

• If you are laying the tiles on natural terrain, the subsurface must be thoroughly levelled and compacted. Then use geotextile, which separates the individual layers and limits weed growth. On top of the geotextile, a layer of sand or gravel should be added to ensure proper drainage.
• Balcony and terrace: The tiles can be laid on concrete or paving with a waterproofing coating. This creates a continuous protective layer, which prevents water seepage into the structure and reduces the occurrence of cracks, concrete degradation or leaks.
