Weekly programmable controller Siemens REV 24RFDC/SET with a PID control algorithm and an adaptive or directly adjustable switching cycle time. Heating or cooling control.
Room temperature is controlled by periodically switching the controlled device on and off. The controller operates in so-called work cycles. Based on the measured data, the temperature curve and the control algorithm, the controller determines how large a portion of its work cycle the output relay contact will be switched on. Depending on the selected control algorithm, the controller reacts to temperature deviations at different speeds.
Automatic adaptation function (Self-learning): The controller is supplied from the factory with the automatic adaptation function switched off. For the controller to adapt to the controlled system (building construction type, radiator type, room size, etc.), the function must be activated using the DIP switches on the back of the controller. After the adaptation phase (several work cycles) has elapsed, the controller optimizes its parameters and continues operating in optimized mode.
