Straight brass ball valve designed for fitting to a manifold with a 1" union nut. It includes a built-in thermometer with a range of 0 °C - 80 °C for checking the temperature of the heating/cooling water directly at the manifold.

Installation

The valve screws directly onto the end of the manifold (inlet or outlet) using a 1" union nut. Once fitted, connect the pipe from the heat source to the free side of the valve. We recommend fitting both valves (supply and return) at the same time, so the entire manifold can be easily shut off if needed.

Important when ordering

Ball valves are always fitted to the manifold in pairs - one on the supply and one on the return. You therefore also need to order a matching red piece to go with this blue one (the colour coding makes it easier to tell the supply and return apart). A T-KIT is also available with both colours in one package (1x blue + 1x red + 2x rubber seal).

• Do I need to buy both valves at once? We recommend it - the manifold needs one valve on the supply and one on the return so you can shut it off completely.
• Is the thermometer included with the valve? Yes, the thermometer is already built in and ready to use.
