Type 22 VK is a two-panel radiator with two convector fins and a bottom connection, which offers higher output than Type 21 at the same size thanks to the second fin between the panels. The built-in valve under the cover makes it easy to connect to underfloor pipework, and the radiator looks clean even without visible fittings on the sides.
We offer Type 22 VK radiators in heights of 300, 400, 500, 600 and 900 mm, in widths from 400 to 2300 mm, and with a heat output from 393 up to approximately 3984 W (temperature gradient 75/65/20 °C). Choose the specific height in the subcategories below – the taller and wider the radiator, the higher the output at the same heating water temperature.
Frequently Asked Questions
- What is the difference between Type 22 VK and other types? The number in the designation indicates the number of panels and fins – Type 22 VK is a two-panel radiator with two convector fins. More panels and fins mean higher output at the same size, but also greater radiator depth.
- What does the abbreviation VK mean? VK is a radiator with a bottom (valve-compact) connection – the valve is built into the radiator body, pipework runs from the floor, and the radiator can be mounted without visible fittings on the side.
- How do I choose the right height and width? Height is usually determined by placement under a window; width and type are chosen according to the room's required heat output – with a lower type (e.g. 21), a larger radiator area is needed for the same output.
- Can the radiator be repainted a different color? Radiators are supplied as standard in white RAL 9016; other RAL shades can be requested individually before ordering.
