Stainless steel solar water tank Veelman 300l - eco

The Veelman DHW solar tank type VSTS300L2 Square is made of stainless steel in accordance with EU Directive No. 97/23/EC, and its high insulating capacity is achieved with a 50 mm thick layer of polyurethane foam insulation.

To achieve maximum versatility of the Veelman solar tank, it is fitted with two heat exchangers (coils): the lower one is intended for connection to the solar system, and the upper one can be used to connect a secondary heat source, e.g. a gas boiler, wood, coal or biomass boiler, i.e. central heating boilers. The inlets and outlets of the heat exchangers (coils) are located in the upper part of the tank. Each tank has two sockets built in for temperature sensors, which measure the temperature in the lower and upper part of the tank. The tank is also equipped with an inspection opening with a diameter of 120 mm and a 1½" socket for installing an additional electric heat source – a heater with a capacity of up to 3 kW. The tank is also equipped with a cold water inlet and a 1" hot water outlet on the side wall. It is fitted for connecting internal hot water circulation, an opening for installing a safety valve, and an opening for draining water from the system. A VSC1P control unit with a modern control system is installed in the upper part of the tank. The control unit is equipped with a safety valve and a WILO pump, including an expansion vessel and an electronic flow meter. The Veelman DHW solar tanks type VSTS300L2 Square were designed to make operation and system connection as easy as possible. Installation of this system is limited to connecting the solar collector to the tank, optionally connecting a second source (a central heating boiler), and connecting it to the internal DHW distribution. The system is designed so that all connections to the tank do not take up much space in the room where they are installed.
