The SmartSolar charge controller processes energy from solar panels and stores it in batteries, maximizes solar yields, intelligently maintains battery condition and extends its lifetime. The SmartSolar charge controller can also recharge a deeply discharged battery, as it can operate with a battery voltage as low as 0 volts, provided the cells are not permanently sulfated or otherwise damaged.
Main features:
Ultra-fast MPPT technology:
The controller constantly monitors the voltage and current from the solar panels and, thanks to MPPT technology, extracts maximum energy from them, which is especially advantageous under varying solar irradiation intensity. MPPT technology ensures up to 30% higher energy yield compared to PWM solar controllers and up to 10% higher yield compared to slower MPPT controllers.
Remote monitoring and control:
If your installation is connected to the internet via a GX device, the VRM portal provides access to your devices anytime and anywhere.
Load output:
The intelligent load output function prevents batteries from being discharged below critical levels. You can configure the voltage at which SmartSolar disconnects the load, preventing excessive battery discharge. The BatteryLife function keeps the battery in good condition and extends its lifetime.
Built-in Bluetooth:
Thanks to built-in Bluetooth, you can pair the SmartSolar charge controller with your smartphone or other device via the VictronConnect app to configure, monitor, or update the system.
VE.Direct connector:
VE.Direct is used to connect to a GX device, PC, or other devices.
