• What is flow-through DHW heating in the Vitodens boiler? The boiler heats hot water directly on demand without a storage tank, so it has more compact dimensions and is particularly suitable where there is no high demand for an immediate draw-off of large amounts of hot water.
• What flue (flue gas discharge) does the boiler use? A concentric 60/100 mm flue is commonly used; the specific type and length of the flue must be adapted to the boiler's location and the discharge height.
• Is the boiler compatible with wireless room thermostats? Yes, the Vitodens range can be combined, for example, with a Honeywell CM727 wireless thermostat.
• Can the boiler also be connected to an existing chimney? Yes, with a suitable modification the original chimney can also be used – a plastic liner (flue) designed for condensing boilers is required.
