ATMOS DC 25 GS
Code: DC25GSProduct detailed description
- 25kW ecological wood gasification boiler – GENERATOR with ceramic lining, extraction fan and cooling loop
– the Generator type is characterized by a special firebox lined on both sides with ceramic shaped elements, fitted in the lower part with openings for preheated primary air supply, a gasification nozzle with openings for secondary air supply, and a lower combustion chamber with a spherical ceramic space. It is designed for burning wood on the principle of generator gasification using an extraction fan (S), which draws flue gases out of the boiler.
The boiler body is manufactured as a welded construction from quality steel sheets 3 to 8 mm thick. It consists of a fuel hopper (6 mm), fitted in the lower part with a gasification nozzle with a longitudinal opening for the passage of flue gases and combustion gases. The afterburning chamber below it is equipped with ceramic shaped elements for ideal burnout of all combustible substances with high efficiency in ecologically friendly combustion. In the rear part of the boiler body there is a vertical flue gas duct, fitted at the top with a lighting-up flap. The upper part of the flue gas duct is fitted with an exhaust neck for connection to the chimney.

Frequently Asked Questions
- How to choose the right output for a solid fuel boiler? Base your choice on the calculated heat loss of the heated building, but with wood/coal boilers also consider that the boiler burns for several hours at essentially constant output during one filling - it is therefore common practice to add a buffer tank to the boiler, which stores excess heat for later use instead of the boiler having to be inefficiently choked down.
- What is a gasification boiler and how does it differ from a classic one? A gasification boiler burns wood in two stages - first, combustible gas (wood gas) is released by heat in the upper chamber, which is then burned together with supplied secondary air at high temperature in the lower combustion chamber. The result is significantly higher efficiency and cleaner combustion (less tar and soot) compared to classic single-stage combustion in older boilers.
- What else do I need for installing this boiler? In addition to the boiler itself, the system usually requires: a buffer (equalizing) tank of appropriate volume, a circulation pump (often already with a built-in Laddomat or thermoregulating valve against low-temperature boiler corrosion), a safety valve, an expansion vessel, and a flue/chimney with sufficient draft corresponding to the boiler output - exact draft values can be found in the technical parameters above.
- What fuel is suitable and what is not? Use only fuel recommended by the manufacturer for the given model (usually split wood of defined length and moisture, or brown coal briquettes or coal depending on the boiler type) - unsuitable or too moist fuel reduces efficiency, increases tar and deposit formation and can damage the boiler.
- What about chimney inspection and legislation? Before putting the boiler into operation, as well as regularly during its use (usually once a year for solid fuels), a chimney inspection/cleaning by an authorized chimney sweep is legally required - without the relevant inspection certificate, an insurance claim in the event of a fire may also be disputed.
- How much maintenance does the boiler require? This typically includes regular ash removal and cleaning of heating surfaces/flue gas passages of soot (interval depending on intensity of use, usually a matter of weeks), and once a year a thorough inspection including seals and chimney.
- Can I install the boiler myself? The actual placement and connection of the boiler to the heating system, chimney and safety elements should be carried out or at least professionally checked by a heating technician - this is a device with an open flame, high temperatures and pressure elements, where an installation error can be a safety risk.
