ATMOS DC 32 GS
Code: DC32GSProduct detailed description
- 32kW ecological wood gasification boiler – GENERATOR with ceramic lining, flue gas fan and cooling loop
– the Generator type is characterised by a special firebox lined on both sides with ceramic shaped elements, fitted at the bottom with openings for the supply of preheated primary air, a gasification nozzle with openings for the supply of secondary air, and a lower combustion chamber with a spherical ceramic space. It is designed for burning wood on the principle of generator gasification using an flue gas fan (S), which extracts flue gases from the boiler.
The boiler body is manufactured as a welded structure from high-quality steel sheets 3 to 8 mm thick. It consists of a fuel hopper (6 mm), which is fitted at the bottom with a gasification nozzle with a longitudinal opening for the passage of flue gases and gases. The afterburning chamber below it is equipped with ceramic shaped elements for ideal burnout of all combustible substances with high efficiency and environmentally friendly combustion. At the rear of the boiler body there is a vertical flue gas duct, which is fitted at the top with a starting flap. The upper part of the flue gas duct is equipped with an exhaust neck for connection to the chimney.

Frequently Asked Questions
- How to choose the right output of a solid fuel boiler? Base your choice on the calculated heat loss of the heated building, but for wood/coal boilers also consider that the boiler burns for several hours during one filling at essentially constant output - it is therefore common practice to add a storage tank to the boiler, which stores excess heat for later use instead of the boiler having to be inefficiently dampened down.
- What is a gasification boiler and how does it differ from a classic one? A gasification boiler burns wood in two stages - first, in the upper chamber, heat releases combustible gas (wood gas), which is then burned together with supplied secondary air at high temperature in the lower combustion chamber. The result is significantly higher efficiency and cleaner combustion (less tar and soot) compared to classic single-stage combustion in older boilers.
- What else do I need for the installation of this boiler? In addition to the boiler itself, the system generally requires: a storage (buffer) tank of appropriate volume, a circulation pump (often already with a built-in Laddomat or thermoregulatory valve against low-temperature corrosion of the boiler), a safety valve, an expansion vessel and a flue/chimney with sufficient draught corresponding to the boiler output - exact chimney draught values can be found in the technical parameters above.
- What fuel is suitable and what is not? Use only fuel recommended by the manufacturer for the given model (usually split wood logs of a defined length and moisture content, or brown coal briquettes or coal depending on the boiler type) - unsuitable or overly wet fuel reduces efficiency, increases tar and deposit formation, and can damage the boiler.
- What about chimney inspection and legislation? Before putting the boiler into operation, as well as regularly during its use (usually once a year for solid fuels), a chimney inspection/cleaning by an authorised chimney sweep is legally required - without the relevant inspection certificate, an insurance claim in the event of fire may also be disputed.
- How much maintenance does the boiler require? This generally includes regular removal of ash and cleaning of heating surfaces/flue gas paths of soot (interval depending on intensity of use, usually a matter of weeks), and once a year a thorough inspection including seals and the chimney.
- Can I install the boiler myself? The actual placement and connection of the boiler to the heating system, chimney and safety elements should be carried out, or at least professionally checked, by a heating technician - this is a device with open flame, high temperatures and pressure components, where an error in connection can pose a safety risk.
