Avansa 110 C
Code: AVANSA 110CProduct detailed description
Avansa 110 C, thermostat for pumps and boiler rooms
The AVANSA 110-C thermostat is designed to control the heating pump. The thermostat's task is to switch the pump on when the temperature exceeds the set value, and to switch it off if the boiler cools down (due to it going out). This prevents unnecessary pump operation, which saves electricity (depending on how the boiler is used, savings can be up to 60%) and extends the pump's service life. This increases reliability and reduces maintenance costs. The pump switching temperature is set using a potentiometer (in the range 10...90°C). The pump switches off if the measured temperature drops 5°C below the set temperature. The pump switches on or off after approximately 30 seconds - this prevents the pump from switching due to sudden temperature changes. In addition to the potentiometer, the controller has 2 switches. The first is used to switch the controller on/off (indicated by a red LED). The second is used to manually switch on the pump (green LED).
LED functions:
- Green LED – the device is in automatic mode, switching the pump on/off depending on the set temperature.
- Green and red LED – the device is in automatic mode, the pump is switched on regardless of the set temperature. The device is protected by a fuse inside the housing (on the circuit board).

Frequently Asked Questions
- How exactly does a manual (simple) thermostat work? It measures the temperature at its installation location and, when it drops below the set value, it closes a contact that starts the heat source (boiler, pump, radiator) - once the set temperature is reached, the contact opens again. Unlike programmable thermostats, it has no weekly or daily program; the temperature is set manually using a rotary or slide control.
- Where should the thermostat be placed? In a location that best represents the typical room temperature - away from direct sunlight, drafts, radiators or other heat/cold sources that could distort the measurement.
- Does installation have to be carried out by an electrician? Connecting the thermostat to the electrical circuit of the heating source should be carried out by a person with electrical qualifications, as it involves work on the electrical wiring and load switching.
