The set consists of a condensing boiler and an external tank for hot water. The boiler is fully prepared for connecting the tank, including a hot water temperature sensor and a three-way valve. Water in the tank is preferentially heated by the heating water. The tank is placed on the ground below the boiler.

• When does the warranty period on a Protherm boiler start? The warranty period starts from the first start-up of the boiler, not from the date of purchase.
• Does a Protherm boiler have to be completely switched off outside the heating season? No, the boiler should never be completely switched off – once a week it automatically turns over the pump and the three-way valve so they don't seize up.
• What wireless thermostat can be used with the Protherm set? For example, the original Thermolink RC or Thermolink LUX controller can be used with the sets.
