The set consists of a condensing boiler and an external tank for hot water. The boiler is fully prepared for connecting the tank, including a hot water temperature sensor and a three-way valve. Water in the tank is preferentially heated by the heating water. The tank is placed on the ground below the boiler.

- Does a Protherm boiler have to be completely switched off outside the heating season? No, the boiler should never be completely switched off – once a week it automatically turns over the pump and the three-way valve so they don't seize up.
