A range of important new improvements will ensure that you now heat with gas as economically as never before when using the latest condensing technology – and with the utmost attention to your comfort. The 15, 25, 35 and 45 kW power ranges are available.
Modern design ensures the boiler runs very quietly, below 35 dB for the GB162-15,25 kW and below 40 dB for the GB162-35, 45 kW.
It is designed for single, two or multi-family homes and low-energy buildings. The boiler is ready to prepare DHW using the connected storage tank. The boiler has an integrated concentric flue gas extraction attachment. A new electronic controller controls the modulating boiler pump, simplifying hydraulics.

The modulating ceramic burner operates over a power range of 19-100%.
This ensures longer burn times and reduces the number of on and off times. In conjunction with the extremely efficient aluminium heat exchanger, the system ensures optimum condensing conditions all year round, thus contributing to boiler utilisation of up to 110.5%.

When it's warm outside, the heater should operate at a lower output and use less energy. The Logamax plus GB162 handles this playfully all by itself thanks to its ETA plus modulating ceramic burner. It also saves money thanks to its extremely large power range of 19 to 100%. This means that it optimally manages to adjust the power output virtually throughout the entire range, while at the same time there are remarkably few burner starts in the lower power range. This saves both the boiler and the user's sensitive ears.
Extremely easy to operate
The Logamax plus GB162 is extremely easy to operate and simple to maintain. It comes complete with. Pre-assembled pumps and easy-to-install connections allow for simple installation.
The heat exchanger tubes in the new Logamax plus GB162 boiler are manufactured by Buderus from aluminium. This high quality material makes it possible to combine light weight, long service life and excellent
thermal conductivity. Inside each tube, cleverly designed, inwardly curved channels create the largest possible surface area and thus enable high energy utilisation.
State-of-the-art surface treatment
Most notable is the heat exchanger tubes' innovative refining surface treatment, which is achieved through a plasma polymerisation process. This coating is extremely thin, yet extremely durable. Above all, it prolongs maintenance intervals and helps to maintain
constant performance, thereby reducing costs. The once-a-year recommended revision can quickly do this.
The design as an engine block of the newly developed heat exchanger in the Logamax plus GB162 boiler does not only have a particularly nice shape and a state-of-the-art concept. It is also supremely practical, because it makes any maintenance or servicing a breeze.
