Top-of-the-line electronic pressure instant water heater CEX-U EAK (11-13.5 kW / 400 V), a set with the unvented single-lever tap EAK, offering outstanding functionality and modern design. This well-engineered compact instant water heater with adjustable temperature suits any kitchen, kitchenette or bathroom. It automatically regulates the outlet hot water based on the flow rate and inlet water temperature. In everyday use the temperature is set directly on the LED display using sensors. Two temperatures can be stored in memory. Thanks to electronic control, the CEX-U together with the EAK tap as an E-compact instant water heater set ensures an energy-saving supply of hot water. The water is heated to the preset temperature directly as it flows. The temperature is selected by pressing a button on the LED control panel using two fixed-value buttons, which are factory-programmed to 35 °C and 48 °C.

C-compact instant water heater vs. small water tank

The C-compact electronic instant water heater (CFX-U, CEX, CDX) with an output of 11-13.5 kW and a flow rate of 5 l/min at a heating temperature of 45 °C was compared with a 5-litre storage water tank (standby energy consumption 0.25 kWh/day at a temperature of 65 °C); the required volume of hot water consumed was 7.5 l in a standard household of 3 people, with the following parameters:

• Daily use per person: 2 minutes
• Operating temperature: 45 °C
• Number of days used: 340 days
• Electricity price per kWh: EUR 0.25
• Cost of water and waste water: EUR 4.30 per m³

Thanks to lower water consumption through CLAGE's economical taps, and therefore much lower energy consumption compared to ordinary small water tanks, the E-compact instant water heater can save you up to EUR 90 per year.
