Small electric CLAGE hot water storage tanks (5 to 30 litres) are a good alternative to an instantaneous water heater where only a weaker electrical connection is available - an output of 2 to 2.2 kW works even with a standard household socket. The S5 to S30 Smart models mount above or below the washbasin depending on the available space.
