This electrical device is designed to protect electric motors and pumps in drilled wells.
The device protects electric pumps against:
overcurrent
missing phase (three-phase version only)
short circuit
dry running
the operating status is indicated by LEDs
The water level is not monitored by conductivity probes, but by changes in the motor's cos φ (power factor). In the event of dry running, the pump is switched off for a short period. The system automatically checks four times whether there is enough water for the pump to operate after restarting. After that, the pump remains permanently switched off (no water).
