The DCX Next electric instantaneous water heater (11-13,5kW 400V) impresses with its simple operating concept and top-of-the-range design. One of five preset water temperatures - 35°C, 38°C, 42°C, 48°C and 55°C - can be selected using the touch button. This is indicated by the displayed colour.

E-comfort instantaneous water heater vs. storage water tank

The E-comfort electronic instantaneous water heater DSX Touch 18-27 kW (flow rate of 10 litres per minute at a precise water temperature of 42 °C) was compared with a 120l storage water tank with a 2 kW output, a mixed water flow of 15 l / min and an outlet temperature of 45 °C in a standard household with 4 people, with the following parameters:

• Daily usage time per person: 10 minutes
• Inlet temperature: 12 °C
• Outlet temperature: 42 °C
• Number of days of use: 340 days
• Electricity price per kWh: 0,25 eur
• Cost of drinking and waste water: 4,30 EUR per m³
