• What is the difference between the classic and tunnel design? These are two dimensional/shape ranges of IVAR.PROFI-AIR ducting components (e.g. couplings, seals) - choose according to the type of ducting already installed in your system.
• What is the direct-acting flow limiter used for? It mechanically limits the maximum air flow (e.g. up to 15 m3/h) in a specific branch of the ducting without the need for electronic control.
• When is a reducer used? When transitioning between different duct diameters (75 or 90 mm) to ensure a secure and tight joint.
• Are seals included with the couplings? Tongue-and-groove circular seals are supplied separately according to the duct diameter (e.g. 63 mm) - it is recommended to order them together with the coupling.
