Electric heating rod without thermostat

Heating rods (spirals) without a thermostat are simple electric elements for heated towel rails without built-in temperature regulation. They are best suited for use together with a separate plug-in thermostat, which lets you set the exact temperature and heating time you need.

We offer outputs from 300 W up to 700 W, so you can choose the right rod depending on the size of the bathroom and the heated towel rail.

Frequently asked questions

  • Do I need to buy anything else with a rod without a thermostat? For temperature regulation we recommend connecting a plug-in thermostat, which you'll find in this category.
  • What output should I choose? 300-400 W is enough for a smaller bathroom; for larger rails go for 600-700 W.
  • How is the rod fitted? It screws into a free outlet of the heated towel rail using the supplied reducer.
  • Is this rod suitable for a rail connected to central heating? Yes, a T-piece lets you connect both the heating water from the boiler and the electric rod to the same rail.
