BPT55 and use of the OpenTherm protocol:
Based on this protocol, two-way communication takes place between the thermostat and the boiler. The BPT55 thermostat's receiver obtains the necessary information (e.g. about outdoor temperature), which it then processes and passes to the transmitter. From the information obtained, the thermostat recalculates the required heating system water temperature and passes it back to the boiler. BPT55 can be used for boilers communicating according to the OpenTherm protocol and meeting the given technical specifications.
