Functions performed by the control unit:

• continuous control of the mixing valve and its pump with the following options:
  • constant temperature,
  • weather-compensated control,
  • valve temperature correction according to room temperature,
  • weekly heating programme
• control of the DHW differential pump
• voltage-free output for controlling the heat source
• cooperation with a room thermostat using standard communication (two-position – on/off) with the option to lower the valve temperature or close it
• cooperation with a room controller equipped with RS communication
• Option to connect the EU–505 Ethernet module or WiFi RS, which allow remote control of functions and monitoring of parameters over the internet (new app eModul.eu), sending email messages in case of alarms.

• What is weather-compensated control? A system that automatically adjusts the heating water temperature according to the current outdoor temperature, saving energy and maintaining a stable room temperature.
• How many mixing circuits can the control unit serve? Depending on the model, from 1 circuit (EU-i-1) up to 3 circuits at the same time together with a DHW circuit and a solar system (EU-i-3 PLUS OT).
• Can the control unit be extended with another circuit later on? Yes, using the additional EU-i-1m module, which serves another mixing valve and its pump.
• What is the URJ-02 used for? It is a simpler control unit for operating two pumps, a switching valve and a voltage-free output, suitable for smaller heating systems.
