Main elements of the underfloor heating control system – variability, flexibility, affordability for everyone

The underfloor heating control system includes:

  1. Control elements – the main control unit (CS-L-4, L-5, L-7, L-8, L-9, L-10);
  2. Monitoring elements – control panel (CS-M-7, M-8, M-9), room sensors or room temperature controls (room thermostats), floor temperature sensors, room humidity sensors, an outdoor temperature sensor, window-opening sensors (C-2n);
  3. Actuating elements – thermoelectric heads on the manifold or electric radio heads, an actuating module (voltage-free switching module MW-1 or MW-1-230V);
  4. Expansion modules – internet module CS-507 or WiFi RS, a mixing valve module (CS-i-1, i-1M), a signal repeater (RP-3, RP-4).
  5. Supporting elements – an integrator combining several voltage inputs into a single 230V output (CS-513), a wireless module for transmitting the signal from a voltage-free output to the heat source (CS-262)

Frequently Asked Questions

  • What elements make up an underfloor heating control system? A control unit, room sensors/thermostats, actuating elements (thermoelectric heads, switching module) and optional expansion modules (internet/WiFi, mixing valve).
  • What is the difference compared to a regular room thermostat? Zone control handles several rooms (circuits) at once, each with its own temperature setting, not just a single circuit like a classic thermostat.
  • Should I choose a wired or wireless system? Wireless is suitable for renovations where cables cannot be run, while wired is more cost-effective for new builds, where cables can be laid alongside the underfloor heating.
  • Can the system be extended with internet control? Yes, by connecting the CS-507 internet module or WiFi RS you gain the ability to control it via a mobile app.
