The TP-83 is a programmable room thermostat with a weekly schedule. It is designed for comfortable yet economical temperature control in buildings. Over the course of 2 days, it can learn the thermal inertia of the heating system and adapt for the highest level of control comfort.

In practice, this means you don't need to figure out how far in advance you need to start the heating to have a comfortable temperature at the desired time. The thermostat tracks and adjusts on its own when heating should start, so that the desired temperature is already reached in the room at the set time.

TP-83 IR is a standalone transmitter that wirelessly sends information to the receiver. The thermostat is compatible with the AC-82, AC-83, AC-8014 and GD-04R. The thermostat is set and programmed using a rotary control dial, and it can be combined with components of the Jablotron Oasis wireless system. In that case, it is possible to:  

• turn heating on and off remotely via mobile phone, remote control, the internet, etc. 
• block heating if a window is open (JA-81M or JA-82M)
• inform the user of a heating fault and risk of frost (a warning SMS is sent if the temperature drops below the set value) 
• inform of a fire risk if the set temperature is exceeded
