The small unpressurised electric instant water heater M3 EKM (3.5kW / 240V) is a complete set - an unpressurised electric instant water heater M supplied with the matching unpressurised EKM tap, designed for installation at a washbasin, kitchen sink or summer kitchen. Thanks to its efficient heating element system it saves on hot water heating costs and is designed to replace small storage tanks that are combined with unpressurised fittings. It saves money, saves space, has a low purchase price and quick installation - that is the CLAGE instant water heater.

Small electronic instant water heater vs small water storage tank

The M-small instant water heater M3 (output 3.5 kW at a water flow volume of 1.8 l/min) was compared in the sanitary room of an office building with a 5-litre water storage tank (standby energy consumption: 0.25 kWh/day, tap flow volume of 5 l/min) under the following parameters:

• Daily frequency of use: 10 times
• Duration of use: each heater for 10 seconds / use
• Set temperature: approx. 38 °C
• Number of usable days: 230 days
• Electricity price per kWh: EUR 0.25
• Drinking and waste water costs: EUR 4.30 per m³

Thanks to lower water consumption through CLAGE's economical fittings, and consequently much lower energy consumption compared to conventional small water storage tanks, the M-small instant water heater saves you up to EUR 70 per year.
