The low-temperature Compact Softline heating body is made of fine cold-rolled sheet steel to EN442-1 quality, with side panels and a top grille, forming a compact unit with a 33.3 mm spacing between the vertical water channels. The convector sheet is welded onto the inner channels. Before painting, all radiators go through a multiple cleaning process, including phosphating with iron phosphate and a demineralised rinse. A base coat of paint is then applied, followed by a powder top coat in Stelrad white 9016. Each radiator is packed in cardboard with sturdy corner protectors and in a protective film. All units have brackets on the back. Quality is certified according to EN ISO 9001. Heat output is verified according to EN 442. Design complies with the BAGUV safety guidelines.
Frequently asked questions
- What output does this specific radiator have (500 x 700 mm, type 33VK)? This size and design variant has a declared heat output of 1439 W (according to EN 442, at the standard temperature gradient) - when choosing the correct radiator size, base your choice on the calculated heat loss of the room in question.
- What does the type designation 33VK mean? The number before "K" (e.g. 11, 20, 21, 22, 33) indicates the radiator's construction type - the number of radiator panels/plates and convector sheets it is made up of; a higher number means more layers and therefore higher output at the same external dimensions. The letter "V" in the type designation means bottom connection (valve-compact) - the connections are located on the bottom edge of the radiator, which is especially suitable for underfloor pipe routing without visible risers.
- What is the maximum operating pressure and temperature? The radiator is designed for an operating pressure of up to 1.0 MPa and a heating water temperature of up to 110 °C, with a test pressure of 1.3 MPa - ordinary domestic heating systems operate well below these values.
- What warranty does the radiator have? The manufacturer provides a 10-year warranty on leak-tightness and heat output from the date of manufacture, subject to professional installation and correct maintenance and operation - the warranty does not cover mechanical damage caused during transport, handling or improper installation.
- Does installation have to be carried out by a professional? Yes, connecting the radiator to the heating system (single-pipe or two-pipe, with forced circulation) should be carried out by a heating engineer/installer, who will also ensure correct venting and balancing of the circuit.
