• The boiler's design is original, as the combustion process is handled completely differently from commonly available gasification (pyrolytic) boilers. This design combines two-stage combustion, which in practice means approximately 80% gasification and about 20% classic burn-out. Thanks to the combination of both combustion types, the fuel is utilised and burned out to perfection.
• The double-walled welded steel construction (inner sheets 5 mm thick, outer sheets 4 mm thick) is filled with water, and water is also present in the fixed grate, made of heat-resistant tubes. This design ensures maximum transfer of thermal energy while also extending the boiler's service life.
• The supply of both primary and secondary air can be easily regulated, allowing optimal combustion and a long fuel burn-out time. Secondary air is supplied from both the front and rear of the boiler, ensuring even burning along the entire length of the grate.
• A wide range of fuels can be burned, and they can be combined (mixed). The Rojek boiler is designed for burning firewood, short piece wood (a product of wood-mass shredders manufactured by Rojek), wood waste, wood briquettes, pellets, fresh sawdust, wet wood chips and other wet biomass. Brown coal, black coal and coke can also be used as alternative fuels.
• The manufacturer does not make the product warranty conditional on burning only dry wood with a residual moisture content of max. 18–20%. Wet fuel or biomass can also be burned, which spares owners the concern of storage space for fuel drying. This saves them time and energy spent handling the fuel.
• The boiler is designed for a lower chimney draught of 10–12 Pa. Thanks to this advantage, it does not need an electric extraction fan to operate. The boiler can therefore be easily controlled even during a power outage. It also saves money, as it does not consume electricity, whose price keeps rising. Another benefit is the quiet operation of the boiler without a fan (undisturbed, peaceful sleep for the owners).
• The boilers are equipped with a cooling loop and allow operation both with gravity circulation of the heating water and with forced circulation by a pump.
• The boilers meet the requirements of standard EN 303-5.
